Loving Richie

dear ones,
thank you beyond thanks for your support of my book, Loving Richie:the true story of hearts connected beyond death (http://amazon.com/).
It is quite astounding seeing my book in print, at long last. The week the author's proof arrived I kept it with me everywhere I travelled; to the car, in my car, to the supermarket, to my bed, to my kitchen, I mean everywhere!
Of course living with a book is odd, so eventually I put it on a bookshelf...my very own book on a bookshelf! Visions of this beloved book on shelves all across the world popped in my head..
books in airports, libraries, independent bookstores, at Barnes and Noble and Borders too, in waiting rooms in hospitals, hospices; books in classes on: grief & loss, AIDS, crossing over to the other side, brother-sister relationships, sibling loss, coping with growing up bisexual and gay;
My book-touching the world, opening hearts, bringing comfort to the bereaved, hope to those in anguish over their lost loved ones.
Ahh---Richie is dancing with my mom in spirit..celebrating with me...with you.

O how i am learning to get up in the morning!

Good morning to the entire world...I have to say I have never, in my wildest imaginings of being a writer, imagined one day my words would be posted for the entire world to see!!
Or not.
I am sitting in a tiny cafe in Italy, drinking my cafe au lait, smoking my cigarette-oops, not really, it's all in my mind.
So for now I bid you all ciao, adieu, see you later alligator; going to drink my tea at my dining room table, think about Italy and the light over the piazza, or was it the light over my pizza?
Enjoy your life today. Be in the moment-since it's all we have, I will try to do the same...
